Research Hotline (301) 441-4402 Drs Werner, Murdock and Francis have many ongoing clinical research projects including impotence, erectile dysfunction, female sexual dysfunction, overactive bladder, incontinence, prostate cancer, benign prostatic hypertrophy, BPH, and prostatitis among others. We have been involved in scientific research since our undergraduate days, and have published many articles over the years. As co founders of Allied Research Corporation, (ARC), the pre-eminent urologic research corporation, we have participated in the development of many urologic products including Viagra, for impotence, Proscar, for prostatic overgrowth, and the Urolume urinary stent for urinary obstruction. We enroll many patients in FDA approved studies, providing cutting edge treatments for many conditions. All studies are carefully supervised by outside analysts and are done only after approval by an Independent Research Board. Participation by patients is purely voluntary, usually free of charge and on occasion may provide compensation for participation. Research in Progress: Always changing.
