    Many medications can be helpful in the treatment of incontinence.  Most commonly used are the anticholinergic drugs which relieve bladder over activity and spasm.  Others may be used to cause spasm of the bladder neck.

    Bladder relaxors:     

        Oxybutinin, Ditropan, Ditropan-XL, 

        Detrol

        Hyoscamine, Levsin

        Urispaz, flavoxalate

 

    Bladder neck contractors

 

        Phenylpropanolamine (probably off the market)
